Description
Woven from long-staple cotton in a deep waffle structure, garment-washed so it arrives already soft and will not shrink further. The belt runs through fixed loops rather than sliding around the waist, and there are two patch pockets set low enough to actually rest your hands in.
Waffle is the right weight for a robe you wear year round — warm because of the air trapped in the weave, not because of bulk, and it dries in hours rather than sitting damp on a hook. The shawl collar is doubled and topstitched so it holds its roll after washing instead of going limp. Cut generously; if you want it close, size down.

Care
