Description
Cut from 170gsm cotton flannel brushed on both faces, in a muted check woven into the cloth rather than printed on it. The top has a chest pocket and shell buttons; the bottoms have a covered elastic waist with a flat drawcord that will not knot itself in the wash.
Flannel this weight is warm enough to sleep in a cool room without waking up overheated at three in the morning. The seams are flat-felled through the inseam and side, so there is no raised ridge to press into you when you are lying on your side. The check is matched across the button placket, which is not something anyone notices except that it looks wrong when it is missing.

Care
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. The brushed face will pill slightly through the first season; a fabric shaver takes it back.
