Description
A 250gsm single jersey knitted from long-staple cotton and garment dyed, so the colour has some depth rather than sitting on the surface. The collar is a separate 2×2 rib, taped across the back of the neck, and the shoulder seam is reinforced with the same tape.
Heavyweight tees usually go wrong at the collar within a year. This one is knitted at a tighter gauge than the body and stitched with the ribbing under slight tension so it pulls back into shape rather than waving. It is opaque enough on its own in bone and thick enough that it does not disappear under a flannel. Side-seamed, so it hangs straight instead of twisting after washing.

Fit
A regular fit that skims rather than clings, with a slightly higher sleeve. True to size. It will shrink about half a size in length on a hot wash, so wash cold.
Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, and tumble dry low or line dry. Garment-dyed cotton will soften and shift very slightly in tone over the first few washes, which is the point.

Proper weight and the rust colour has faded very slightly into something I like better than the original. Runs a touch short in the body if you are tall, otherwise true to size.

Good quality shirt and it washes well. Sizing runs small through the chest though, and I would tell anyone between sizes to go up. Ended up exchanging the M for an L.
