Description
Knitted in a 2×2 rib from 19.5 micron extrafine merino, this has enough weight to hang properly rather than cling. The rib gives across the body and recovers, so it moves with you and does not hold a seat crease. Shoulders are set with a fully fashioned seam, meaning the panels are knitted to shape and joined rather than cut, which is why the shoulder line stays clean after repeated wear.
It is the piece that solves a cold weekday. Layered over a thermal in January or worn on its own in a warm room, with a belt if you want the waist marked. The cuffs are knitted long enough to pull over the base of your hand, which matters more than it sounds when you are walking to the car.

Fit
Close through the body without being tight, with a high crew neck and a slight flare below the hip. Long sleeves with extended cuffs.
Care
Hand wash cool in wool detergent or use a wool machine cycle in a mesh bag. Dry flat and reshape while damp; hanging a wet merino knit will stretch the length.
