Description
The upper is knitted in one piece from a merino and nylon blend, with the nylon carried through the high-wear zones at the toe and heel so the wool does not thin out. The midsole is a sugarcane-based foam and the outsole is a thin natural rubber with a shallow tread. No overlays, no glued-on logos.
Warm without being hot, which is the useful property of wool. They are the shoes we take on planes and wear around the house in shoulder season. They are not a snow shoe and the tread will not save you on ice, so be honest with yourself about the forecast. Machine washable cold on a gentle cycle with the insoles removed.

Care
Remove the insoles and machine wash cold on gentle, then air dry away from heat. Never tumble dry — the wool will felt and shrink the fit.
