Description
Pebbled full-grain leather with a shearling lining that runs the whole length of the shoe, including under the footbed. It is hand-lasted and blake stitched, which keeps the sole profile slim, and the outsole is a 6mm rubber wedge with just enough grip for a dry sidewalk.
This is the shoe for the house, the office, and the walk to the car — the middle ground between a slipper and something you would be embarrassed to be seen in. The apron seam is hand-sewn and slightly irregular from pair to pair. Shearling compresses, so it will feel snug for the first week and then settle into a fit that is yours. Order your usual size and expect it to loosen slightly.

Care
Wipe the leather with a damp cloth and condition every few months. Air the shearling out regularly rather than washing it.

I put these on at six every evening. The shearling under the foot is the difference — my last pair was only lined at the sides and it was not the same. Hand-sewn seam is not perfectly even, which I like.

Beautifully made and very warm. They are firmly an indoor shoe though. I tried them on a damp walk to the shop and regretted it, so plan around that.
