Description

Knitted from a 380gsm cotton fleece with a brushed inner face, this is closer to a piece of loungewear you keep than a pair you wear out in a season. The fabric is garment-dyed after construction, which softens the hand and means the colour settles rather than fades patchily. Side seams are flatlocked and the waistband has a flat woven drawcord that does not disappear into the channel when you pull one end.

The taper is cut so the hem sits at the ankle without a heavy cuff bunching over a sock. Pockets are set deep enough for a phone to stay put when you sit down, and there is a zipped rear pocket on the right for anything you would rather not lose off the sofa.

Specification

  • Fabric: 380gsm cotton fleece-back jersey, brushed interior
  • Finish: garment dyed
  • Waistband: ribbed with flat woven drawcord and anchor bar
  • Pockets: two deep side, one zipped rear
  • Seams: flatlocked side and inseam

Fit

Relaxed through the seat and thigh with a clean taper below the knee and a ribbed ankle cuff. Mid rise, sits comfortably above the hip bone.

Care

Wash cold inside out and tumble low or hang dry. Garment-dyed cotton will settle slightly in the first wash, which is expected.

Substantially heavier than the joggers I was replacing. The drawcord is flat and wide so it actually stays tied. Two months in and the knees have not bagged out at all.

  2. Marcus Feld (verified owner)

Very good fleece and the zipped back pocket is more useful than I expected. Sizing is generous through the seat, I could have taken a size down.

  3. H. Nakashima (verified owner)

The fabric is excellent, no complaints there. Mine shrank about an inch in length on the first wash even on cold, so I would air dry from the start. The Deep Moss is darker in daylight than on screen.
